Hi!

I am an award-winning author-illustrator from Brazil.

I am known for creating the Yeti series and have illustrated over sixty books for young readers worldwide. My most recent work as an author-illustrator is "A Home for Leo" (Two Lions). My first book, "The Thing About Yetis," was released in 2014 and received positive reviews from the New York Times, Kirkus, and Booklist. The follow-up, "Bedtime for Yeti," was released in December 2016.

I used to live in NYC, but now I'm back in my hometown of Rio with my cat and dog. We live among plants, picture books, and surfboards. I often visit NYC for creative inspiration.
