I am an award winning Brazilian author-illustrator and the creator of the Yeti series. I have illustrated over fifty books for young readers in various countries.

The Thing About Yetis (Dial-Penguin), my first book as author and illustrator, came out in 2014 with positive reviews from the New York Times, Kirkus and Booklist. The follow-up, Bedtime for Yeti, came out in December 2016.

In the USA, I have illustrated Naughty Ninja Takes a Bath by Todd Tarpley (Two Lions); Bob and Joss Get Lost! and Bob and Joss Take a Hike! by Peter McCleery (Harper); Music Class Today by David Weinstone (Mcmillan); and Maddi's Fridge by Lois Brandt (Flashlight Press), which won a Christopher Award.

My third and latest book as author-illustrator, A Home for Leo (Two Lions), came out in July 2018.

After having lived in NYC, my two cats and I are back to my tropical hometown Rio. We live surrounded by many plants, piles of picture books and some single fin surfboards. I often come back to NYC for creative stimulation.
